Tayside Council on Alcohol (Angus Young Person Service)
Tayside Council on Alcohol, Angus Young Person Service is a service to offer information, advice and support to young people who feel that their or others alcohol and/or drug use is becoming a problem. Anyone living in Angus who is under the age of 25yrs can use this service. We offer group work programs in venues around Angus or one-to-one support if this is more appropriate. The one-to-one sessions are confidential and will support you to make positive changes to your life.
When you are referred to Angus Young Person Service you will meet your resource worker who will set aside time for you to talk about how things are in your life. You may feel that situations in your life are too complicated for you to deal with on your own. Together you and your worker will decide what issues you need to tackle and come up with a plan as to how to achieve this.
As part of our program of projects and group work we have developed girls’ groups; “The Witches Project” and boys’ groups; “Loose Cannons”.
